Since 2012, Anke has rented out her superb apartment. It’s on the 6th floor of a recently renovated building on the Ostend promenade. Its modern, refined interior instantly wins over anyone who loves comfort. And there’s plenty of space: up to 6 people!
Since 2018, Hans has opened the doors of his Loft as a holiday rental. It’s on the 5th floor of the same promenade, 80 m further along. Expect luxury, design and a simply incredible sea view. A cosy little nest, perfect for two!

Food and culture
Looking for a wonderful place to eat? The city has more good restaurants than any other Belgian coastal city! That says it all! Hungry for culture? Concert halls, the famous Casino, the well-known Harbour Festival and major events set the rhythm of this seaside town all year round, summer and winter.
Its typical harbour, its legendary pier, the Klein Strand (“Little Beach”): every corner of Ostend tells a story. But the city also offers something you may not expect: real peace and quiet. The dike is cheerful and lively. Yet the beach is so vast that you only hear the waves and the seagulls.
Peaceful retreats
The many parks offer peaceful retreats. And in our area, towards Mariakerke, you leave the crowds behind completely. The North Sea gives you delicious fresh fish. You can buy it directly at the Vistrap, the famous fish market in the harbour. Ostend also has a superb public swimming pool, ideal for swimmers and children.

Ostend has everything a large, modern seaside resort has to offer. Plus that little extra that makes it unique: its authenticity. In Ostend, you’re never bored. Unless you’ve decided to do nothing at all.
Ostend is also very easy to reach. It’s about 1 hour 15 minutes by train from Brussels.
