Our holiday homes are easily accessible by public transport. In whichever of the two holiday homes you stay, you take the coastal tram in the direction of De Panne in Ostend station. Get off at Ostend Northlaan. The Apartment is located at 400 meters from this stop. The Loft is at 500 m from this stop.
On the Belgian coast you can use the same De Lijn transport tickets as elsewhere in Flanders. So bring your Lijnkaart or Buzzypass to the sea. You can also use a day pass to discover the coast carefree. With a day pass you travel alone or together, one or more days unlimited with the Coastal Tram. An adult pays 6 euro per day. A child 4 euro. For excursions on the coast you take a combination ticket. This bundles the price of transport plus access for the attraction, such as Plopsaland, Sea Life and the Sand Sculpture Festival. From 2 days in advance on sale in the line stores of Ostend and other coastal municipalities. Be sure to check out the 7-day pass or the ticket for your bike.
De Lijn invests heavily in the coastal tram. They ordered no less than 48 new tram sets. From 2019 you will be able to ride them for the first time. This and other Belgian coastal news that has an impact on your trips to and from Ostend is for you in our blog.
