Free parking in Ostend

All guests of the apartment en the Loft have a free parking space. This is included for the duration of your holiday. We are very happy that we can offer you this. Finding a parking space is not easy in Ostend. And parking on the street has become more expensive again in 2020. At the apartment has a covered garage. Just drive into the ground floor at the back and your car is dry and behind a closed garage door. You will receive the precise location for your stay. At the Loft belongs a parking lot near the back entrance of the apartment building. You will also receive this precise location for your stay.

Streets Westerkwartier

Are you receiving visitors during your holiday in the Apartment or Loft? Then you can suggest that they park in the streets of the Westerkwartier. This district is located behind the horse racing track. Parking in the streets of the Westerkwartier is free. For example, the Elisabethlaan, the Werkzaamheidstraat and Dokter Verhaeghestraat. It is only a fifteen minute walk to our holiday apartment on the Zeedijk.

Randparking Maria-Hendrikapark

You will find this free parking on Graaf de Smet de Naeyerlaan and Mercatorlaan. There is room for 300 cars. A 5-minute walk will take you to the beginning of the shopping street, Kapellestraat. After fifteen to twenty minutes you can roll out your towel on the beach of Oostende. A nice thing is that you can borrow a bike for free for 1 day. Do you prefer to take the bus? Every 30 minutes the city center bus takes you to the center. And that for only 0,50 euros.

Randparking Oosteroever

You can also park for free at the edge parking lot in the Ankerstraat. You can find them at the holiday home Duin en Zee along the coastal road. There is room for 150 cars here. This parking lot is located on the other side of the harbor channel. But don't worry. There is a very smooth connection to the center. Either you take the free ferry to the center of Ostend. Or you get on the Coastal tram.

West of Delhaize

You can also park in the streets between the Nieuwpoortse Steenweg and the Zeedijk to the west of the Delhaize (Sleuyter Arena). That is the gray zone at the top left of the map on this page.

Zeedijk Raversijde

What we prefer to do is park on the Zeedijk in Raversijde, along the dunes. From there you can take a pleasant walk on the dike with a sea view to the Apartment or the Loft. You will find the free parking spaces just past Vayamundo, from Zeedijk 137.

Train is best alternative

Don't feel like parking problems at all? Don't want to pay for an expensive space? Then take the train. Ostend is easily accessible from every Belgian train station. During the summer holidays, extra trains run to and from the coast every day. Be sure to check the advantageous summer rates for tourists. Ostend station is a 5-minute walk from the beach. The coastal tram takes you to every other coastal city. Or to the Apartment and the Loft near the horse racing track in Ostend. Get off at the Northlaan stop.
