Free parking in Ostend

All guests of the Apartment and the Loft have a free parking space. This is included for the duration of your holiday. We are very happy to be able to offer you this. Finding a parking space is not easy in Ostend. And parking in the street will become more expensive again in 2020. Bee the apartment has a covered garage. Just drive into the ground floor at the back and your car is dry and behind a closed garage door. You will receive the precise location for your stay. At the Loft belongs a parking lot near the back entrance of the apartment building. You will also receive this precise location for your stay.

You can park a second car in the streets around the Apartment or the Loft. This street map shows you the streets and rates.

Free parking just outside Ostend

Day trippers will find two free peripheral car parks in Ostend. For visitors of our guests - or your second car - we have a tip to park nearby for free.

Streets Westerkwartier
Do you receive visitors during your holiday in the Apartment or the Loft? Then you can propose to them to park in the streets of the Westerkwartier. This district is located behind the horse racing track. Parking in the streets of the Westerkwartier is free. For example, Elisabethlaan, Werkigheidstraat and Dokter Verhaeghestraat. It is only a fifteen minute walk to our holiday apartment on the Zeedijk.
Randparking Maria-Hendrikapark
You will find this free parking on the Graaf de Smet de Naeyerlaan and Mercatorlaan. There is room for 300 cars here. At 5 minutes you walk to the beginning of the shopping street, the Kapellestraat. After fifteen minutes to twenty minutes you can roll out your towel on the beach of Ostend. Nice is that you can borrow a bike for free for 1 day. Do you prefer to take the bus? For the 30 minutes, the center bus takes you to the center. And that for only 0,50 euro.
Randparking Oosteroever
You can also park your car for free on the edge parking in the Ankerstraat. You can find them at the Duin en Zee holiday accommodation along the coast. There is room for 150 cars here. This parking is located on the other side of the port channel. But no need. There is a very smooth connection with the center. Or you take the free ferry to the center of Ostend. Or you step on the Coastal Tram.

Ostend fills up quickly during the season. Many tourists come to the coast by car. The free car parks are therefore quickly full. Therefore keep this list of paying car parks at hand. You will find many parking spaces in the streets of Ostend around the Apartment and the Loft. Although we cannot guarantee that you will find a place easily. Because many other rental apartments do not have a covered or reserved parking space for their tenants. Train is best alternative

Are you not in the mood for parking problems at all? Don't want to pay for an expensive place? Then get on the train. Ostend is easily accessible from any Belgian train station. During the summer holidays, extra trains run to and from the coast every day. Be sure to check out the affordable summer rates for tourists. Ostend station is a 5-minute walk from the beach. The coastal tram will take you to any other coastal city. Or to the Appartement and the Loft near the horse racing track in Ostend. Get off at the Northlaan stop.
