Our holiday apartment is located on the sixth floor of a recently renovated building on the Zeedijk. 80 meters away is The Loft on the fifth floor of a renovated building. Both buildings have an elevator. Both the elevator and the apartment are wheelchair accessible.

Are our stays still free?

Sublime sea view

The holiday homes are located at the height of the horse racing track. The dike in front of the Apartment and the Loft was completely renovated. The beach was raised and widened. The stairs that give access to the beach are located directly across the apartment building, so you are immediately on the guarded beach. As a bonus, you can enjoy a sublime sea view from the apartment!

Area

In the vicinity of the apartment there are several restaurants, local shops and supermarkets (Spar, Delhaize). If you want to catch a movie, you can go to the Kinepolis just 750 meters from the Apartment and the Loft. The Municipal Swimming Pool of Ostend is less than a kilometer away. The swimming pool is equipped with an Olympic indoor pool, slides, a children's pool, an outdoor pool with sunbathing area, jacuzzi, sauna, Turkish steam bath, sunbed and relaxation area. You can also go there for body care and relaxation treatments. The new swimming pool will open soon!

Train and coastal tram nearby

The coastal tram stops near the apartment: Halte Oostende Northlaan. The station of Oostende is only 4 tram stops further. You can easily reach Oostende from Ghent, Antwerp, Brussels and other Belgian stations. With extra tourist trains during the season.

A lot to do

In Oostende there is a lot to visit and experience for young and old. There are the annual events such as Kids@Oostende, Theater aan zee and fireworks on Monday. And there are the permanent values such as Fort Napoleon, MU.Zee Art Museum aan Zee, Mercator Sailing Ship, Atlantikwall and Earth Explorer. In the city centre the shops are open daily.
