Dogs allowed in rental apartment
Tenants regularly ask us if they can bring their dog. Or their dogsIn many holiday apartments this is not possible. In The apartment en The Loft are dogs allowed.
Why do we allow dogs?
We believe that everyone should be able to enjoy the sea with whom he loves. With your partner, your friends, your children or grandchildren ... and with your dogs. One or two dogs can be perfect for us, provided that a small surcharge is paid. It is very nice for us that we find that dog owners usually leave our holiday homes the tidiest of all tenants. They check extra for dog hairs left behind and tidy up their dog stuff.
Still wonderfully clean!
Because then everything again thoroughly cleaned and aired is before the next tenants arrive, there is never a dog smell in our apartments. Due to our strict rules, people with a possible allergy have never experienced any inconvenience.
House rules for dogs
Every tenant must live in the holiday apartment as a good family man and respect the house rules. This also applies to the tenant with dog. What dogs are not allowed with us? - Get into the beds. - Lie on the couches. - Shake themselves dry indoors. - Bite and scratch the walls or furniture. - Bark. - Bring lots of friends. (max. 2 dogs allowed) We ask that you have a basket or blanket for your faithful four-legged friend. This way, he will immediately have his familiar place to lie and sleep on holiday. Bite, scratch and play damage must be compensated by their owners and/or their family insurance.
Surcharge for dogs
When booking your holiday, you indicate whether you are taking 1 or a maximum of 2 dogs on holiday. For a small surcharge, we will then ensure that you do not have to miss your pet on holiday. We charge per dog: 35 euros per week
Dogs on the beach
In Ostend there is one beach strip where dogs are always allowed: on the beach of Raversijde from Westlaan to the border with Middelkerke dogs are allowed all year round. On the Oosteroever beach from the Halvemaandijk to the border with Bredene dogs are allowed all year round but not during the Easter holidays and not in the months of July and August. On the rest of the Ostend beach dogs are only allowed between 1 October and the start of the Easter holidays. Always mandatory on the beach: a bag for the poop!
